EOG Review
Ok, so EOG's are right around the corner and if you are teaching Common Core this year and anything like me you have had NO time to review any material yet because you are still teaching..am I right, or am I right? So next week we are going to start reviewing and I wanted to share two review games that I play with my students. These were NOT created by me but I use them and my students LOVE to play them. The first one is grudgeball. I found it at the link here: http://toengagethemall.blogspot.com/2013/02/grudgeball-review-game-where-kids-attack.html?m=0. This game is great to play when you want to keep all the students engaged and you already have questions and answers ready to go. In North Carolina we use a program called ClassScape that has a bunch of questions for each standard. I put these on the board and use them as my questions. If you do not have something like this maybe make a PowerPoint with all the review questions that you would like to use. Another game that most of you probably use is Jeopardy. You can find Jeopardy games all over the internet or you can make your own game at the link posted here: http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/ . If you have any other ideas, comments, questions, or suggestions please reply!! I know that standardized testing is stressful but if we all work together we can get through it!
